Cultural Revolution

Posted: 27/01/2013 in Uncategorized

I am of an age now to have witnessed the Cultural Revolution in China and to have seen the devastation visited upon the people of Cambodia by Pol Pot and understand when this phenomena is taking place.  We are slap bang in the middle of our own little revolution and seem to be sleep walking into the future with little or no resistance.

The activities of Gove, Hunt, Cameron and Osborne et al. are shaping our society into a new model that bodes ill for our future.  Linked with the potential exit from the E .U. These activities are being ushered in with a minimum of  resistance and a lack of organised opposition.

Are we so complacent and afraid to challenge this cabal that any opposition is seen as not acceptable to the “market” and middle England?  Trade Unions are neutered, and the Labour Party is afraid of its own shadow as well as denying their heritage and roots.  We do not have to be right or left but more of an organised opposition to what the Tories are up to.

There is enough evidence to prove them wrong in all their assertions but be it media intransigence or lack of conviction on opposition to the Tories, we seem to be unable to refute their lies and offer alternatives.

The official opposition is hopeless, the mass movement is no longer there, unless it is for fox hunting or fuel prices, so what is it we can do?  Well for a start we can challenge the buggers at every opportunity.  Email, conversation, M P’s surgery, letters etc. etc.

Every journey begins with a single step according to Confucious so let’s take that step and fight back against this hidden evil that stalks our very way of life.  You may say evil is a strong word but a close examination of the effects of the Tory revolution make that an understatement.

The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.
